Who we are
Atyl is provided by Atyl Ltd. Company number, registered address and governing law: to be confirmed.
Questions about your data: support@atyl.design.
What we collect
- Account details: your work email, name, password (stored only as a secure hash) and, if you sign in with Google, your Google account identifier.
- Organisation details you give at signup or in your profile: organisation name and type, portfolio size, and the category of link that brought you to Atyl (for example a campaign or organic visit — never the full link).
- Profile details you choose to add, such as a display name, phone number, logo, preferred style and units.
- Projects: project names and any address you enter, rooms and dimensions, budgets, styles, uploaded floor plans and room photos, generated renders, saved items, and items you mark as ordered or delivered.
- Billing: if you subscribe, payments are handled by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer and subscription references, your plan, payment amounts and dates, and refund status. We never receive or store your full card number.
- Product usage: we record events in our own database — for example a project created, a specification generated or a retailer link opened — together with your organisation type, portfolio size and plan, to understand and improve Atyl. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers.
- Reports and requests: wrong-item reports (including any note you add) and account deletion requests.
- Technical and security data: server logs with request identifiers and errors, IP addresses used for rate limiting, and, when enabled, a Cloudflare Turnstile check on signup.
How we use it
- To provide Atyl: reading floor plans, building specifications within your budget, and generating optional room renders.
- To run your account, take payments when you subscribe, and respond to reports and requests.
- To keep Atyl secure and prevent abuse.
- To measure and improve the product.
Who processes it for us
Buy links take you to retailers' own websites, which are covered by their privacy policies. Retailers or affiliate networks may use cookies to recognise that you came from Atyl.
- Amazon Web Services: hosting, database and private file storage (UK region).
- Google Gemini: AI processing of floor plans, room photos and project details to read plans and generate renders.
- Stripe: payments and billing, if you subscribe.
- Our email delivery provider: account and service emails.
- Google: sign-in, if you choose Sign in with Google.
- Cloudflare: the Turnstile signup check, when enabled.
Cookies and browser storage
Atyl uses essential cookies to keep you signed in and protect forms (session and CSRF cookies). Your browser also stores a few Atyl preferences: whether to keep you signed in, your units, sign-in state across tabs, and the signup-link category. We do not use advertising cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data while your account is open. When you ask us to delete your account, we aim to complete the request within 30 days.
Some records are kept after deletion where we need them: payment and refund records, security and audit logs, and product-usage measurement records. Fixed retention periods for these and other categories have not yet been set; this notice will be updated when they are.
Deleting your account
Go to Profile → Delete account to request deletion, or email support@atyl.design. A request is reviewed by the Atyl team; your account keeps working until the request is completed, and you can see its status in your profile.
Changes to this notice
We will update this page when how we handle data changes, and change the date below.
